AWESOME calculator August 5, 2005 22 out of 31 found this review helpful
I got this Calculator for middle school and it RULZ. I have had to deal with many formulas in my Algerbra class and entering the formulas on a regular calc can be much to time consuming. With the TI84, I just write a program in BASIC and, Presto! Instant answers. Now I am lightyears ahead of the class. Another great thing is that the TI84 comes with a USB cable allowing you to download games to your calculator. ***Don't Play Games In Class*** My sub thaught I had a Game Boy and was ready to take the thing away. ;-) The USB cable is also compatable with the PSP and many Video recorders. An investment that really paid off. A must get for Algerbra I and beyond.
WOW!!!! August 6, 2004 John Pirate (Alabama) 19 out of 25 found this review helpful
The TI-84+ is the calculator of my dreams. I've always wanted a friend that could graph so efficiently! Why I had no problem finding the second derivative of many graphs just by eye! Again I say WOW! and give the TI-84+ 5 big stars!
Just got it brand new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! September 5, 2006 16 out of 20 found this review helpful
I just bought this graphing calculator. It looks and feels very stylish and comfortable. I believe this is a better choice than the ti-84 plus silver edition as that version has a little more memory and a few more applications and cost about $20 more. I don't care about those extras because i only need it for my math class!!If you need a graphing calculator this is the one to get as it it almost identical to the ti-83 plus and only cost about $10 more. Buy this and you get a better screen, more memory, and faster speed!!!!!!!!!

not very friendly for entering matrix March 7, 2006 Student (Schaumburg, IL) 12 out of 17 found this review helpful
It has many useful features, but TI has done a poor job on the way you can enter and edit matrix. They should look into Casio models for improving their interface.
