Good Brand, Good Price, Good Quality December 8, 2007 azdeanna (Phoenix, AZ) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have to disagree with people that think they aren't getting their money's worth on ink. I have an Officejet 4315 that I use to print several pages per week for school. I also own an Inkjet 697C. Yes, the 697 cartridges have twice as much ink, but they are also twice as expensive at around $25-30 each. I simply changed my default print setting to Draft, which prints 300 dpi, and it prints B&W text just as nicely as the Normal setting (600 dpi). You may not want to do this if you print work/professional graphics all the time, but I used the Draft setting on color for printouts for my Anatomy & Physiology II class last semester, which worked just fine. 1 black ink cartridge (HP 21) on the Draft setting will last me most of a school semester, printing 10 - 20 pages per week (of mostly text with a few graphics). I used 1 plus a partial color cartridge (HP 22) last semester.

Here is printer ink that is five bucks more in stores! Same exact thing, but at a discounted price with no sales tax! Stock up on it as I don't see how they can keep selling it at this price!

I used to own an Epson 64 printer. It cost me more for ink than it cost me for the printer. Need I say more. This is a much better choice.
Replacement Ink December 19, 2007 MommaMia (NY) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
As far as replacement cartridges...well, they work well, and they certainly fit the machine we have, but I wish they weren't so darn expensive. We go through them more like water than ink....and spend a fortune during the year replacing them when they run out. When buying both color and black/white cartridges together, it can cost 40 dollars each time I replace them, and during school months, we could spend up to 800.00 for the year...4 cartridges a month estimate...egads!

I received the two packages of HP 21 Ink as ordered online within the time spand indicated for shipping. And the great thing is that the ink arrived on the exact day the ink was completely out!
