Amazon.com Review If you're looking for a circular saw that's convenient and easy to use above all else, DeWalt's 14.4-volt, 5-3/8-inch circular trim saw is a smart choice. This saw includes a tough metal base plate, a bevel adjustment that goes to 50 degrees and can be recalibrated, and a depth-of-cut adjustment that reaches all the way to the blade. It easily cuts two-by material in a single pass, and has a left-side blade that adds visibility. We especially liked the blade-changing mechanism: the shaft-lock button is easy to find and depress, and the hex key stores on the body of the saw, making the blade easy to switch out and replace. This model also has a fan-cooled motor with replaceable brushes that will reach 3,000 rpm. The result is a cordless saw that cuts 25 feet per minute of 1/2-inch plywood. The saw weighs only 6.8 pounds, and without a cord to hassle with, you'll find that nothing is easier to haul around on a job site. Especially for smaller jobs, a cordless saw is a serious timesaver. This kit comes with a T-guide; a 24-tooth, 6-1/2-inch blade; and a plastic carrying case. --Jonathon Tudor

Good trim saw July 30, 2000 LL Tool (Portland, ME) 19 out of 22 found this review helpful
I've used the 935K for two years now in some remote locations in Alaska and now in Maine and I love it. Decent power and handles very well. Well balanced and easy to work with. Only complaint is having not being able to cut through a two by without turning over your work. Like the idea of being able to get blades anywhere though. It really chews up batteries when working with the thicker woods though. I have four and keep them going all the time. Nice saw though, I've dropped it from two stories more than once and it keeps on going. I've used it on boats in the salt air and sea spray and it still works as good as it did when it was new. You'll like this one.
Toughest little saw on planet Earth! May 14, 2001 Michael J. Godwin (Gautier, MS) 9 out of 13 found this review helpful
Believe me, I don't know how I ever made it through a day in the shop "without" this tool. Plenty of power to cut thru two inch material with ease and a long lasting power pack. I love all my De Walt tools and can see that this little rascal is soon to be my all time favorite. No doubt, well worth the money and, of course, being a De Walt, it's TOUGH!!!!! Five Plus star rating for this excellent tool.

I've had this saw for about 6 yrs. Got it as a gift when it first came out. It's the first saw I reach for . I certainly would'nt recomend it for everyday heavy use contruction. I use it for general purpose cutting. Just finished framing a basement with it.Never took my corded saw on the job. Second battery is a must. Never had any problems. Still using original blade. Highly recomend it for those who like getting away from the mess and tangles of cords. It's lightweight to boot compared to the new 18, 24 volt models that are out. Dave
Husband loves it June 25, 2001 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
It's the perfect size for the small do-it-yourselfer. We didn't need anything big - but seeing my husband hand saw small pieces of wood - because pulling out the bulky skill saw was too much i decided for this saw. It has been wonderful.
no problem with hardwoods October 8, 2003 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I had to replace my sand and finish hickory floor in the kitchen due to water problems. I used my dewalt 14.4 cordless saw to cut the floor around the cabinets in several areas. I must say I was suprised by this little saw. It's got guts to rip through hickory the way it did.
