A good solid lift, I've used is several times and even left it in the rain a couple times and it still works well. Only thing, the thing is so heavy and cumbersome that by the time it arrived, the box was kinda' torn up. But thats the delivery co not the manufacturer. So, its a good lill' work horse. Laterz.

I purchased virtually the same (Chinese) jack. It was 6.25" at the lowest height. Too high to get under the bike. 4 hours of extensive modification resulted in workable 5" height. A jack like this or similar is an absolute necessity to service any bike without a center stand (which is rare now).Works fine on a Sportster or similar bike with the double downtube frame.Typical Chinese quality-needs some 'tweaking' to be totally workable and safe. I'm quite satisfied NOW with it at its new 5" minimum height.

12-01-2008 Addendum:Be aware the jack will sometimes leak down over night or a couple of days. The 'safety holds-it-up' bars are equally as untrustworthy. If the bike is to be left jacked up over night or a few days, it's best to fashion wood 2X2 supports to assure it stays UP. My satisfaction has lessened! A $10,000. (up) bike at the mercy of this Chinese $100. jack could be false economy. I have 6 or 8 Chinese hydraulic devices, this is the most poorly engineered and constructed.(and the rest aren't exactly 'mil spec')
