Amazon.com Here's a laser level perfect for the homeowner or contractor who's hanging cabinets or shelving, installing suspended ceiling or flooring or just hanging artwork. It's compact, inexpensive and reliable. Strait-Line's 60-foot laser line can mark a 120-foot work area by swiveling the laser, and it's accurate to +/- 3/16" at 20 feet. Best of all, it leaves not a mark on your surface, unlike other laser levels we've seen that have pins on the back. Instead, just peel the strip of 3M Command Adhesive (be sure to affix the correct side to each surface) and place the level. For a horizontal line, just turn the unit until the bubble in the horizontal level is between the two lines. For a vertical line, keep your eye on the vertical level's bubble. Lengthening the line is a snap, accomplished just by changing the tilt angle on the mounting base up to 4 degrees. At its full length, the line isn't as bright as when it's projecting just a few feet, but even so, it's bright enough to work from. Hanging a wall border around a corner? No problem: The laser will round the bend for you. It's slick, fast, easy and fun. Our only complaints: It only comes with four Command Adhesive strips (so stock up) and the two AA batteries are not included. Other than that, it's a great little tool.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Excellent Value : Does what it's designed to 100% April 17, 2005 Dinesh Chakka http://livingthoughts.blogspot.com (Florida, United States) 96 out of 97 found this review helpful
I pointed out a few things that were not right with and could be improved upon when I reviewed the Black&Decker BDL110S BullsEye Laser level Stud Sensor and it was refresing to find this little wonder that seems to have gotten everything right compared to the overpriced Black&Decker tool. For starters, it's not a combo, there is no stud finder in it, so it's not bulky and it can fire the laser at any angle that you choose in addition to the obvious horizontal and vertical angles. It has bubble vials for both level & plumb. The laser can be adjusted for distance either short and bright or long with a slight loss in brightness, if you are close to the corner, it will even get the laser straight line onto the adjacent wall. This little gadget rocks.

I have used this a few times and have been pleased with its operation. I like the use of the 3M COmmand Strips to mount it. They work great. Only four are included in the package, so you'll need to buy more. I have used this outside during the daytime while putting up a fence and the laser was bright enough to see for 20-40 feet. Inside, it's very bright.
Disappointed January 27, 2006 K. Ron (Putnam Valley, NY) 11 out of 18 found this review helpful
I read the other reviews and had high hopes for this product. I already had the kind that pushpins into the wall, but got one of these so that I wouldn't have to patch the tiny holes. Unfortunately, when I removed the tape, it held onto the wall and took a piece of my waLl with it. Now I have a bigger area to patch!

A great product worthy of five stars except for the fact that they only give you two double faced strips to hang it on the wall. The company should supply more strips with each device. Where do you get more hanging strips? Lucia and Helen of PA

The level works very well for establishing a flat plane reference line about my yard. This is all I needed. This tool did the job excellently.
