This method will provide the most accurate length.

Stays sharp but breaks too soon September 30, 2008

Stayed very sharp and I was hoping to use it a good long time but the weld began popping as it went through the guides. It lasted less than 1 hour of use. I bought several so we'll see how well they last. Maybe it was a fluke.
