Good mower June 7, 2007 Jason Jacoby (nj, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is my first reel mower. It does a good job on my lawn. It gets stuck when large objects, such as sticks and stones, interfere with the blades. It also doesn't seem to like parts of my lawn that are uneven. It is tricky to adjust the blades for the best cut. The height adjustment, however, is very easy.
Customer service? (are they still in business?) TERRIBLE September 6, 2008 D. Barkalow 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We purchased Model MM-1 last summer (07). Loved it until it broke this spring(08) under normal use. It came with a two year warranty. We contacted the company through phone (full mailbox) and email. Received an automated email response a month ago that "issue will be resolved". Have heard nothing since. Voicemail is still full and email contact no longer working...absolutely no satisfaction and no way to get in touch! I would stay away from this company even though I love their "green" aspect.
It's a good push mower June 22, 2008 Phyllis Towns As this is the first push mower I have ever owned I can't compare it to other push mowers. I bought this because I was sick of investing money in gas or electric mowers & having them break because of hitting some unseen item & bending the shaft. This cost me the same or less as having my more expensive mower repaired. It does the job & I am getting better exercise! I also am saving on the cost of either gas or electricity which are both at a premium these days. It was well worth the investment. It arrived on time, was well packaged & it looks exactly like the picture. I have no complaints.
great addition to the garden July 21, 2008 Justine (Portland, ME) I am so happy that i got this product, it cuts things amazingly. My mom suggested that i mow my lawn with a power mower before using this because push reels cut short grass. But i ended up not getting a power mower and this came in the mail and i was able to cut my long grass. It does take a little more energy going different directions to get the longer lawn but now that its cut i just keep up with it. Its a great move from a loud power mower. Its quiet and i can do it while my son is playing without disrupting his play with a loud blasting noise. The company is a great company to support, well put together and quality.
Sunlawn Push Rell Mower July 30, 2008 Reel Man (Fort Lauderdale) Cuts great with one pass - much better than the Scott Classic. Only inconvenience is caused by stops on stray mulch and sticks.
