Product Description In-Mold Microshell offers protection and durability for the trail ahead. Blade visor easily snaps into place to protect your eyes from the sun and rain. 21 large vents with channeled ventilation keep your head cool. ErgoDial fit system with Cam-Lock levers provide a perfect fit whether youre on or off the beaten path.
Product Description The Bell Slant Fusion Sport Bike Helmet is constructed with a fusion in-mold microshell, which utilizes the process of bonding the helmet's microshell to its EPS foam layer, rather than forming the two separately and taping them together later, to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. This helmet features Bell's ErgoDial fit system to deliver an easy one-hand adjustment with the press of a button and slide of the dial for a firm, snug and comfortable stability. The Slant also features a removable blade visor, and cam-lock levers that make it easy to adjust the straps around your ears. For your comfort, this bicycle helmet includes 21 channeled vents that are specially designed to force cool, fresh air in through the front and around your head, while flushing warm air out of the rear ports. The Slant helmet comes in Bell's Universal Adult size (54-61cm), weighs 300 grams, and complies with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's safety standards for bicycle helmets. Helmet Tips--You Should Always... - Wear a helmet when you ride
- Wear your helmet low in the front to protect the forehead
- Fasten your buckle and tighten your chin strap
- Check your adjustments every time you wear your helmet
- Inspect your helmet regularly for signs of wear or damage
- Wear a helmet designed for your activity
About Bell More world champions have worn Bell Helmets than all other helmet brands combined. From Grand Prix racing through the Indy 500 to Olympic cycling, Bell helmets have played a vital role in protecting sportsmen and women for nearly 50 years. Bell began as a small auto parts store in a suburb of Los Angeles. Growing under the leadership of Roy Richter, Bell became a leader in safety equipment for auto racing, motorcycling, and then bicycling. His commitment to creating great product through a close connection with the sport, along with his trust of and care for the people who worked for him, turned Bell from a one-man operation into a multi-million dollar enterprise. His legacy lives on today in Bell's commitment to racing, quality and innovation.

Just right February 8, 2008 R. Ross (Fort Myers, FL) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this helmet. It took less than 5 minutes of initial adjustments to the straps. I REALLY like the adjustment dial. Put it on your head and simply turn the dial until it tightens and fits adequetly. I do not even notice wearing it while cycling. Between the two major head shapes (oval and round), my head is slightly more toward oval. I found that Bell helmets fit oval shapes better than the Giro which is better for round heads. Also checkout the Consumer Reports Magazine review for bike helmets. The Bell Slant made it on their recommendation list. Love the helmet and would recommend it. Rob
Good looking and practical August 16, 2006 Inna Z (San Diego, CA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
It took a while to find a helmet that wouldn't make my head look like a giant mushroom... Many are just too bulky and too heavy! Originally I tried Bell Slant in a store (REI), really liked it and then bought it online for much cheaper. Great ventilation, easy to adjust, looks really nice... Thank you, Amazon!

Fits snug and secure and has good ventilation. I chose it because it was top rated in Consumer Reports. Very light weight.
Good Fit June 27, 2008 LA Fundraiser (Los Angeles, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Returning to bike riding after ten years a new bike helmet was in order. After reading reviews in various places the Bell Slant was my choice. Ease of adjustment for a good fit and reasonable appearance were important considerations. The helmet has met both needs. Therefore I have been wearing it on my weekend rides. It is comfortable, secure and does not require constant adjustment as did helmets of years ago. For the price it even looks fine.

You can't go wrong with this helmet. It is a very comfortable helmet, and the price is right. This Bell product is much better than my Trek helmet.
