Product Description Introducing Razors new and improved E-100 Electric Scooter offering powerful fun at speeds up to 10MPH!
Amazon.com Product Description Cruise around the neighborhood in style with the Razor E100 electric scooter. Boasting a chain-driven, high-torque motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle, the E100 is the perfect device for pre-teens and teens wanting to zip over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--whose motors start from a standing position--the E100 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once the rider is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk. And thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch. Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E100 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty. The buyer and rider of the E100 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters. Key Features: - Powerful fun at speeds up to 10 miles per hour
- Up to 40 minutes of continuous use
- Chain-driven, high-torque motor
- Twist-grip throttle
- 125mm polyurethane rear wheel
- Rechargeable battery
- Hand-operated front brake
- 8" pneumatic front tire
- For Ages 8+
- Weight Limit: 120 pounds

Great little Scoot . . November 4, 2006 Ronald Tucker (coldwater, michigan United States) 46 out of 50 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my 8 year old. This has been a joy of his for quite a few months. It runs well, peppy and the battery seems to hold up for a very long riding period. He has had times in excess of 1 hr. riding around the house and driveway. The only thing which is minor that annoys me is that when you corner very sharply the chain protector drags the pavement. No damage is done but it seems this part of the scooter should be higher off the ground. Overly recommended for children of appropriate ages. Get your child one, they and you will not regret it.
Poorly made July 28, 2006 Kelly Hillcrest 42 out of 61 found this review helpful
I purchased the E100 Electric Scooter for my son in December. He got to use it a handful of times and then he got too close to the curb and the on/off switch broke off. It is in a bad location on the underbelly of the scooter. I tried to replace it and it melted out the wires to the starter. Customer service was great at Razor, and sent me several parts to repair it, but after finally receiveing them and finding a shop that would repair it, we found out that they sent the wrong parts. Since then I haven't been able to even stay on hold long enough to talk to anyone at the company again. In the mean time I got another one on E-bay that said it was barely used and once I received it, it never charged! My son loved it while it worked and keeps asking me for another one, but I am hesitant to spend the money for the third time just to have him be disappointed again.
Great fun for kids. May 10, 2007 Snoosh (New Jersey) 26 out of 30 found this review helpful
Our son has used his E100 for almost a year now, got it for his 7th birthday. He rides it a while almost every day on the street in front of our home, no long treks. It's been reliable and performs as advertised. I would guess that our son goes about as fast as someone running fast (running, not jogging), sometimes faster going downhill. The brake is a bit weak but not bad. At age 7, our son has behaved safely with it, stops and waits off the road if a car comes and no crazy stunts, so I would say it is suitable for his age, but obviously every kid has different maturity levels so parents have to judge on their own. Lots of fun, impresses his friends, and reliable.
Holding up well - nephew loved it! May 22, 2006 Tim's (Ohio) 21 out of 23 found this review helpful
Bought this for my nephew who just turned 6. - I was concerned with it beinig too fast, it's just right. he transitioned from push version to this in seconds! Quality so far seems great, only area that could be better is the chain guard. - if he takes corners a little too tight, the guard gets scratched on the pavement. - Rear wheels should be a little bigger. Otherwise, worth the $
Be Forwarned! : ) November 14, 2007 Thomas H. Moorer (Fuquay Varina, North Carolina USA) 17 out of 20 found this review helpful
I just ordered a couple of these for my boys for Christmas. I just wanted to warn that these toys are not hidden in a box and the identity of the toy is apparent on the box, in case your child is at home upon delivery and you don't want him to see it!
