super cute and sturdy, but way to SLOOOOWWW September 11, 2006 i love toys and baby gear (ocean county, NJ) 62 out of 65 found this review helpful
my daughter got this for christmas when she was 4 1/2. she loved riding it around our house on hardwood floors, but once she felt comfortable enough to go outside she was disappointed. basically, no matter how much you walk before hopping on, it doesn't go anywhere. it is very very safe for a beginner though. my almost 3year old is now using it and is getting a little bored when her big sister is running circles around her on her barbie scooter and she isn't getting a 'ride' no matter how hard she works -not even on an incline! also, the bearings are NOT replaceable, so even though it's adorable you can't speed it up.
Jake loved it! November 5, 2006 Susan Frazer (Aurora, IL USA) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
My grandson, Jake, loved his scooter. He's ony three and we found it easy for him to master. It's a great toy for the sidewalk, safely keeping a child out of the street. It's a great buy! Regards, Sue Frazer
fun while it lasted November 21, 2005 D. Wells (Gilbert, AZ) 12 out of 16 found this review helpful
My son loved the blue version of this toy. He was never really steady on the regular razors, so this one game him the confidence to even try it. Unfortunatly, while on a long family walk, he got tired of riding his razor, so Dad tried to ride it home. The plastic frame got bent, and it was never usable again. Just keep in mind, that when plastic parts break, it's over. Wish there was a metal version of this toy. :)
Sturdy, but movement is poor June 26, 2007 V. Kendra (Michigan) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 3 1/2-year-old son who is not quite old enough/coordinated enough to use his brother's Razor A3. The scooter does not have enough glide to allow him to push off and then ride with both feet on the footboard; it won't go more than a few inches without constant pushing. This is frustrating for him when he sees his brother gliding up/down driveways and around corners. I think this could have been designed to allow for some glide while maintaining the sturdiness for younger kids.
Needs new bearing June 1, 2007 Chet (Palo Alto, USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I received this toy in one day from Amazon with a free shipping. Amazing. I realized that it wasn't moving fast as the other razors. I looked at the wheels and found out that there were no bearing inside. I guess that's why it's cheaper and slower for the little kids. If you want to make it faster, Just add bearings (don't forget the spacer) or buy a new wheels with a bearing. ( 4 new wheels will cost around $20). My daughter is happy now.
