Peace of mind worth the price. October 24, 2007 therck (Illinois USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I have used magnetic stick-on type propane cylinder level indicators before, but they are a bit "glitchy" and hard to read/interpret under different outdoor temperature conditions. This device provides more reliable certainty regarding actual remaining gas (volumetric) level. There are similar looking products out there, but they seem cheap. Check the packaging and pictures. This version (GasWatch) appears to be the real deal and is not excessively expensive. Recommended. Therck.
Completely useless! June 5, 2008 Stephen Blythe (St. Louis, MO USA) 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
Attached this device to a completely full gas tank, and it promptly read "empty". Trusting this brand new gauge, I replaced the (heavy) tank - my mistake, as the new tank also registered "empty". Then tried to start our grill with this gauge still attached, and it wouldn't start. Took this gauge off of the tank, directly attaching the gas tank to the grill, and the grill fired up no problem at all (and has been running twice a week just fine on the same tank for over a month now). I've since talked with other folks who bought this device, and we *all* had the same exact problem! I'm forced to conclude that there must be a bad batch of these out there, so please beware if you are thinking about buying (as I did) based on the other glowing reviews you'll find here!
Great Gadget May 29, 2008 Mat T. (Plano, TX United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great Indicator. It's easy to use and it's accurate. Installation was a snap! Even though it has a "leak cut off" or "regulator" on it (which seems to be a great option), you still get ample gas flow. Finally, the device is fairly hefty/solid, it doesn't feel cheap/flimsy.
This gadget works great! June 3, 2008 Rose (Rifle, CO United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really like this gas gauge. It is easy to install and easy to read. No more half finished meals because the gas ran out.

I recently purchased the GasWatch TVL212 Propane Gauge. I was pleased at it's sturdy quality, and easy read gauge. It was easy to install, can be turned for easy viewing.
