This is the second Hon24 Lock Kit I've purchased in the last 6 months and I'm very pleased with how simple it was to install as well as its daily high-quality performance. I would recommend this item for anyone needing to add a lock to their Hon filing cabinet.

Well, I spent some time figuring out how to install the lock. Maybe I am stupid, but the package did not come with any instructions, and in my case, I had another little part, something like adapter washer. First of all, I spent some time figuring out whether I need that washer in the first place. After some thoughts, I tossed that away.
Another issue is that the fastener that holds the lock in place was a bit wide, so I needed to hit it with a hammer a couple of times. I hope it will stay in place. Or maybe I should have welded it?
