Small-Office capabilities at home January 3, 2007 Harri Taranto (New York) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have a base unit and seven extra handsets throughout the house. The system works very well. Reception is excellent, intercom feature works very well, including paging. This two-line system would work well for a busy family or for a samll business office.
Poor Sound Quality February 9, 2007 Gregg (Danville, CA United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is probably the 4th or 5th wireless land line phone I've had and probably the 3rd Panasonic. The sound on my end is the worst of ANY phone I have ever used. The people on the other end hear me fine but for me at this end (with one base station and 2 additional satellite units upstairs) it is an unclear, static-filled, painful experience that is NOT improved by increasing the volume or hitting the Booster feature. This is the first phone I've had at the new highest frequency (900 MHz or 3 GHz or whatever) so maybe it is that. The base unit is no better than the handsets and the handsets are no better if you are close to the base unit. I'm seriously thinking of going back to my old phones but the LCD's don't work anymore so you can't make use of the Caller ID features! I had to buy this phone since I need a 2-line wireless option and there were no others. Other features were fine but the speakers are so poor that I cannot recommend this phone at all.
Not as good as the model from two years ago. May 7, 2007 Donna P (California) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The phone is getting cheaper in quality. I also have this version from two years ago and the older model is so much better in quality.
Works just fine May 7, 2007 Dan (Virginia) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Kind of pricey compared to single-line phones, but it works as advertised. Extra long voice mailbox is needed for keeping business and personal messages.
SOUND QUALITY COULD BE IMPROVED January 5, 2007 C. Pokomo (Los Angeles, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Good features. User friendly. Sound quality could be better. Range adequate in a home. Wish the speaker function worked while the phone rests in the charger base. Thankfully, the #1 on the dial pad works, unlike my last Panasonic system. Let's hope this model makes it past the warranty period...
