I really love this locket, but it is smaller than I had anticipated it being. I didn't look at the specs closely, I guess. It is smaller than the size of a dime...actually, it covers Eisenhower's head and that is about it. So it is quite small, and I don't know if there is anything that will actaully fit inside the locket, but I really do love it. The clover looks like it is real, so I thought that was cool too. I would buy it again given the chance, but I would like it a little more if it was just a bit bigger.

This is a gorgeous locket. I'm very much in love with it, and knew that I would be the moment I saw it on Amazon. It is absolutely beautiful and (though my pictures do not do it justice) it actually looks almost exactly like the Amazon photo (something I cannot say for any other online jewelry I've bought - no matter how lovely the piece, the picture is always better). As much as I love it, though, there are several points worthy of note that I should caution the buyer about.
Size: This locket is very small. I've included some pictures to show the relative size compared to an American quarter, and compared to the wallet sized photo I used in the locket. My boyfriend and I had our portrait taken for Christmas. I was able to fit my face in one side of the locket, and his in the other, but note that only the facial skin fit - the surrounding hair had to be cut out completely. Note also that since our portrait had both of us in it, our faces were smaller than a portrait with only one person - I don't believe a normal wallet portrait face would fit this locket.
Chain: The chain that comes with this locket is incredibly light and fine. It seems more a silver thread than a chain, which would be lovely except that it keeps getting tangled up in itself. I've had to undo massive tangles three times already, and that's with the best care I can give it. I will be replacing the chain VERY soon. Fortunately, the bail is normal sized and will allow this, but it's annoying.
Fitting: There is no 'guide' included to cut your pictures to. I was forced to place the backs of several pens in the locket until I found one that fit. I then traced around the bottom of the pen to mark where to cut on the pictures. (I used a Precise Rollerball pen, if anyone is curious.) There is also no mechanism to hold the picture in place, so I fell back on a dab of reliable superglue. It wasn't a big deal, and it came out okay, but I was worried I'd ruin my $25 necklace... and of course, I'd better not break up with my boyfriend now, or I'll have to buy a new one. ;)
I really love this locket. It's cute, and the green clover is so vibrant and perfect. The faces look good inside it - even if they are without hair and a bit ragged around the edges (perfect circles are hard to cut that tiny!). And the chain will replace easily soon enough. Definitely consider buying this gorgeous piece, just be aware that there are some obstacles to clamber over.

My father bought this for my daughter for a Yule gift. It was lovely, and she couldn't wait to wear it. Unfortunately, when she tried to open it the four leaf clover part popped off. The part went missing, and now we have a blank locket with a glue spot.
If it had stayed together I would have given it a four to 5 star rating. It is a very cute piece that is perfect for a young lady.

I had this item on my wish list and was very excited when someone purchased it for me, however after wearing it for a few short hours I found that this was not something to be happy about. I am very sensitive to metals but since this was sterling silver I thought that it would be ok, however I broke out in a really awful rash and now have a necklace that I can no longer wear. So basically BUYER BEWARE! Don't make the mistake I made and end up like me!

this locket is just beautiful!!! But the little tiny link that holds it to the chain is very fragil...if you dont replace that right away, your going to loose it. I love the locket!
