Step One: the Anti-Alzheimer s Diet, including recipes and a twenty-eight-day menu
Step Two: daily physical exercises for the body and mind
Step Three: daily neurobics to build a big brain reserve

The Anti-Alzheimer's Prescription- Easy lifestyle applications to reduce your risk of Alzheimer's August 28, 2008 David Gutkind 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
Dr. Fortanasce's "Anti-Alzheimer's Prescription" is written in an easy to read, non-clinical style. Combining established scientific findings and anecdotal information based on years of clinical practice, he presents the 4 step program in a logical and compelling way. Especially if there is a history of Alzheimer's in your family, or if you are just interested in staying "at the top of your game" for as many years as possible, the Anti-Alzheimer's Prescription offers the reader simple and practical lifestyle interventions to promote longevity of mind and spirit.

I found this book to be very well written. It was easy to read and understand. My mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. This book was very informative. It gave me a better understanding of the disease. I would recommend this book highly!
Outstanding August 30, 2008 Geralyn Fellows 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
As a speech-language pathologist, I feel the book was an outstanding guide for understanding the symptoms and preventative measures to overcome the onset of the disease. I would recommend this book to colleagues, patients and family members for an informative, and exceptionally well-written book. Dr. Fortanasce has written the information so all can understand the impact this disease has on the patient and the family.
The Anti-Alzheimer's Perscription September 16, 2008 Jean H. Cedar (Palm Desert, CA) 10 out of 18 found this review helpful
This is an excellent book written by an outstanding neurologist that my husband and I have known for several years. He has given our daughter such quality help with her severe neurological difficulties. Dr. Vincent Fortanasce shares so clearly and honestly some of his life experiences of his own Father which makes his book an easy read and all about being aware of risk factors in regards to Alzheimer's. His approach to this horrific disease makes such tremendous sense in what we can do "now" in our lives for prevention. We have already purchased two copies for friends -- plus one that we have for ourselves. Paul & Jeannie Cedar
