Product Description Here's the classic "bible" of forms and checklists for every situation a professional photographer may face. Thoroughly expanded and updated to cover the Internet, this brand-new Third Edition contains 31 forms, each ready-to-use as is, or easily tailored to fit any situation. Photographers will find contracts for wedding, portrait, and assignment photography; property and model releases, assignment estimates, confirmations, and invoices; delivery memos; license for Web usage; nondisclosure agreements; and much, much more. An accompanying CD-ROM provides electronic versions of these forms, ready to use on both Macs and PCs.

Great Book! August 11, 2003 Barbara Bell (San Carlos, CA) 38 out of 41 found this review helpful
Great book as a reference tool. Why reinvent what others before us have used? Using actual forms and a CD to personalize, this is a great tool for all photographers.
A very good resource. June 18, 2000 Joseph Michael Simmons (Bryans Road, MD) 33 out of 48 found this review helpful
This book, Business and Legal Forms for Photographers is a very valuable resource. I completely recommend this book for anyone getting into photography as a profession.
Tad Crawford Does It Again September 14, 2006 John P Bernat (Kingsport, TN USA) 29 out of 29 found this review helpful
Tad Crawford has written a whole series of books out of his expertise in the law and creative arts, with a special focus on photography. I'd suggest looking at Tad's other books, too, since this one is more action-focused without extensive explanations of the whys and wherefores of it. "Business and Legal Forms" has the documents you'll need, such as Wedding and Portrait contracts, model and property releases, copyright transer forms, publishing contracts and stock photography forms. His descriptions are very helpful. Of greatest practical use, though, is the included CD-ROM containing MS Word documents of all of the forms. If you're just getting started in photography, you need this book!
very helpful September 29, 2005 D. Baird 18 out of 21 found this review helpful
I firmly believe in putting anything that has to do with business in writing. With the forms and checklists in this book I hope to avoid any misunderstandings. I will recommend this book to others.
An Invaluable Resource August 13, 2006 Raymond J. Alstrom (Victoria, TX) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I didn't originally buy this book to "read". I bought it for the invaluable resources inside - the wealth of forms that any photographer needs to protect their work and their business. What makes this book so enticing is you don't have to photocopy, or redesign any of the forms since they're all included on a CD that comes with the book. That being said, I should mention that I was quite surprised at the thorough explanation for each form, and the situations where each form might be needed contained in the book. A person could undoubtedly pay hundreds (probably thousands) in legal fees assembling the information in this book on their own. This book is a photographer's "legal-resource-in-a-book". I highly recommend it.
