Product Description
Soul Mind Body Medicine is a revolutionary new book that puts breakthrough healing science at your fingertips. It moves beyond the familiar concept of “mind over matter” to the new frontier in health and healing for the 21st century: “soul over matter.” This book teaches a truth so simple and yet so very profound: THE SOUL CAN HEAL. It explains how to tap into the soul’s limitless powers of unconditional love and forgiveness for healing and manifestation.

Soul Mind Body Medicine combines Western wisdom with ancient Chinese healing secrets and powerful new techniques for energy and spiritual healing. It includes 150 photographs that illustrate healing strategies for more than 100 ailments, from the common cold and back pain to heart disease and diabetes. Also included are step-by-step protocols for weight loss, cancer recovery, a wellness regime, and much more. Says best-selling author Zhi Gang Sha: "Heal the soul first; then the healing of the mind and body will follow."

5 out of 5 stars Soul Mind Body Medicine is a breakthrough soul healing system!   May 16, 2006

Dr. Zhi Gang Sha is an extraordinary healer and teacher. I first heard about Dr. Sha in May 2004. In June 2004, I attended an event and received priceless, advanced spiritual and healing wisdom. Dr. Sha's healings and teachings empowered me to heal myself of a chronic, mental disorder that I had for about 15 years since the age of 12. After one year of following the teachings and implementing the practices, I was completely healed and, under the guidance of my Medical Doctor, taken off of all medication for this disorder. I have been off all of this medication since June 2005!

Soul Mind Body Medicine further reveals deep spiritual and healing secrets that many spiritual masters have kept secret and only delivered to a select few of their followers over hundreds and thousands of years.

Dr. Sha reveals a tremendous amount of esoteric knowledge in this book to the general public. Specifically, in Soul Mind Body Medicine, you will learn how to:
* Understand and apply the key theories (Cell Theory, Field Theory, Space Theory and Matter Energy Message Theory) of Soul Mind Body Medicine for healing, blessing and life transformation
* Use the Power of Soul to heal, bless and transform every aspect of your life and others' lives, including soul, mind, emotional, and physical bodies, relationships, finances, and other areas
* Utilize "soul over matter" in addition to "mind over matter" with love, forgiveness and service for healing, blessing, and transformation
* Use the One-Minute Healing method for healing in short amounts of time
* Practice universal meditation, which includes how to cleanse your own karma, transform your life and reach soul enlightenment
* Apply over 100 self-healing techniques, with clear instructions and pictures, to self-heal many different conditions on all levels of your soul, mind, emotional and physical bodies
* Prevent illness and disease

This book is worth more than the investment you will pay. There is something in here for everyone. Even if it is one sentence, it could heal, bless, transform and/or provide a new insight for your soul, mind and body.

I highly recommend this book and his previous bestselling book, Power Healing: Four Keys to Energizing Your Body, Mind and Spirit, which has other powerful self-healing, meditation, and other techniques not in this book.

If you buy one book, this is the one to buy. I know Dr. Sha's teachings and methods work because I have been completely healed of a chronic, mental disorder utilizing his practices. I hope you will buy this book and use it to heal, bless and transform every aspect of your life.

May your soul journey and life truly be blessed.

I was drawn to this book from the massive hype leading up to its release. I began reading the book, which I consider to be an interesting interpretation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Quantum Physics... However, there were a few things that sent up alarm flags causing me to wonder if this book was really all it was cracked up to be.

One of them being Dr. Sha's talk about Karma: He states a rather common view on Karma, being that we are judged on our bad and good actions and this determines how our life will be - easy or difficult. Now, you can go along with this if you choose, but later he says that you need to forgive all people you have ever harmed and ask them to forgive you (still ok) but then he says that if all these people have not forgiven you, you must give them some of your "good karma". If you DO give them some of your "good karma" you will have disasters in your life because you have given some of your good points away.... This is rather hokey...

Choice is what makes our circumstances in our lives. It is not "good points" or "bad points". He also states that you must be spiritually tested... This too, is an old concept that has no truth in reality. We create our tests for ourselves because of our beliefs.

There are some good things in this book, but you could probably find them by thumbing through it and leaving it on the shelf.

Also... If you are thinking that because it is such a hot seller it must be good, don't be fooled. The publishers and the author are promoting spiritual services pricing hundreds and thousands of dollars for those that buy multiple copies of the book (6, 10, or more). For some of the "diving healing treasures" you must order 5 books from here on Amazon and 5 books on the Barnes and Noble website... This is to ensure top sales on multiple venues.

I would think that such a spiritual book would sale itself without gimmicks. If you are looking for true life transforming material - I would suggest the books: "Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul" and "The Nature of Personal Reality" both by Jane Roberts. Also, "Ask and it is Given: Learning to Manifest your desires" and "The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent: Living the Art of Allowing". These books will show you how to create a life full of ease, healing and wonder without having "disasters" and "spiritual tests or crisis".

5 out of 5 stars One of the most incredible books on the planet   May 16, 2006

Dr. Zhi Gang Sha is a living saint. His spiritual and healing powers are phenomenal. His new book, Soul Mind Body Medicine, a complete soul healing system, is no ordinary book. It is one of the most incredible books on the planet. After you purchase the book, go to drsha.com and follow the process for registering your book. Each Sunday Dr. Sha will "kai guang" the books. Kai guang is a Chinese term meaning "open light" and what Dr. Sha does is to give your book a spiritual transmission of Divine light as a permanent Divine blessing tool. After your book has received this Divine power, you can invoke it to give a powerful healing blessing to yourself or to others. You can use it to bless, heal, and transform every aspect of your life and the lives of others. Ask for a healing for that pain you've been having or ask for a financial or relationship blessing. You will soon realize that it's an extraordinary book. Thank you Dr. Sha for your gift to us.

I have read this book and four of Master Sha's other books. I would say that it is a clever and eclectic marketing mix of new age, psychic and traditional qi gong techniques. The techniques for healing specific ailments seem to be congruent with similar healing techniques which fall under "energy work".

The leap of faith for me is ignoring the inconsistencies in his seemingly virtuous intentions. Some things just send up a red flag for me.

Has anybody noticed if you start with page nine of all eighty-some reviews that the majority of the reviewers have only reviewed Master Sha's books?

Has anybody noticed on Dr. Sha's website that he offers the services of "Karma Cleansing" for $1,000 and a Divine Protection Package for $1,200.

Has anybody noticed that most of the reviews for his books are regurgitated descriptions from the back cover or in the introduction of the book?

Has anybody noticed that out of eighty-some book reviews most are romantic reflections about the book's philosophy as if it were a novel instead of a how to get results book on self-healing?

Has anybody noticed that there are only approximately five reviewers out of eighty-some reviews that cite any reduction or elimination of specific, chronic, physical conditions?

I wrote a review called "Missing the Obvious" for another one of his books. In that review I made the honest observation that if Master Sha's soul healing methods work, and he includes specific techniques for healing the eyes, why does he wear glasses?

Since then, I looked for contact information on his website. I called the contact phone number and spoke with one of his representatives. The representative I spoke with assured me repeatedly that Dr. Sha does not wear glasses. I told the representative that I have five of Dr. Sha's books and in all his photographs in the books and often on the book covers, he was wearing glasses. As we spoke I was staring at the website's homepage where Dr. Sha is smiling with glasses on. The representative said, "Oh it's because, like many other healers and guru's, he's so busy taking care of others he hasn't taken the time to heal himself."

Is it just me? Since when have we become so gullible or so helplessly in need of a medical cure or warm hug that we'll believe anything we're told?

My intentions are not to take away any hope for any readers involved; however, I would like people to make an informed decision as to whether or not they want to invest their money, time and energy on the newest spin in snake oil, even if it does tout of being on the N.Y. Times Best Seller list or come recommended by another best selling author.

4 out of 5 stars Practical Handbook for Healing   September 7, 2006

****
"Soul Mind Body Medicine: A Complete Soul Healing System for Optimum Health and Vitality" is exactly what it says, a complete system for healing. It is also a practical energy healing handbook that exudes positive energy and love. It describes universal spiritual principles common to all religions and spiritual practices---forgiveness, healing, blessing, love, etc.

The book combines Eastern and Western medicine concepts, but primarily is based upon Eastern medicine; it is essentially a system devised by the author after years of practice as an energy medical physician. He is also a Western medical doctor, so he brings a breadth of experience to the book, and it shows.

The methods in the book are complementary to other healing methods and so would be of great interest to anyone interested in healing. As a type of energy medicine, the distinction of Soul Mind Body Medicine is that it emphasizes soul over matter, a level "above" mind over matter. It claims that we can communicate with our body via our soul and thus self-heal. The author believes that "Soul Mind Body Medicine will...help you prevent degenerative changes in the brain, helping you maintain vitality and vibrancy for your brain and mind throughout your life."

All of the exercises and mediations are non-traditional and may seem very unconventional to those who practice or are devoted to allopathic medicine. If this is you, but you are open-minded, I'm would think that you'd be able to receive great benefit from the techniques addressed here. Otherwise, pass on this book.

The book is practical and filled with exercises. Most of these did not appeal to me, because I do not enjoy the technical aspects of Chinese medicine, and this is why I rated the book only four stars. The basic concepts made sense to me, so I did indeed benefit from the book, but the actual practice and exercises were difficult for me. That said, the author took pains to Westernize the exercises so that anyone could do them...I just found them...well, boring and a little weird, mainly because of lack of interest and patience on my part. I think that if you were interested, the book would be invaluable. There are detailed suggested practice schedules for cancer, protocols for healing emotional imbalances, various styles of mediations, and much more.
